Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. Some are needed to make the site work. Others help us understand how the site is used.
How we use them
We use two kinds. The site works fully without the second kind.
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| cc_cookie | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
| amber.cart.v1 (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Keeps the items in your cart | Until you clear it |
_ga | Analytics, only with consent | Tells returning visitors apart | Up to 2 years |
_ga_* | Analytics, only with consent | Keeps session state | Up to 2 years |
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and remember choices you make, such as your cookie choice and your cart. They do not need your consent. They cannot be switched off from the site, but you can block them in your browser; some parts of the site will then not work.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It sets the cookies listed above. We keep the data for 14 months. Google may process it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy. Nothing from Google loads until you agree, and nothing is switched on by default.
How consent works
When you first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences, all equally easy to use. Your choice is stored for 6 months, then we ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page, or the button at the top of this page. If you switch analytics off, we stop collecting data and delete the analytics cookies.
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. How to do it depends on the browser; look in its help section.
Changes
If we add a new cookie or tool, we update this page and ask for your consent again where needed.
