Refund & Cancellation

In short

• Cancel before we start work: you get a full refund.
• Cancel after we start work: you get your deposit back minus the value of the work done, never more than the deposit.
• Consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, with the rules below.
• Care plans: cancel with 30 days’ notice. The current month is not refunded.
• The free site review costs nothing and can be rescheduled or cancelled any time.

Before kick-off

Kick-off is the first day we spend working on your project and tell you so in writing. If you cancel before kick-off, we refund everything you have paid, in full. If an invoice has not been paid yet, cancelling simply cancels the invoice.

After kick-off

If you cancel after kick-off, we refund your deposit minus the value of the work already done. We itemise that work in writing, and the amount we keep never exceeds the deposit. The balance is only due when you approve the launch, so if you cancel before then, you do not owe it. Once you have approved the launch and the work has been delivered, we do not refund the balance, except where the work does not match the agreed scope, in which case we correct it or refund the affected part.

Consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are buying as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day it is concluded, without giving a reason. To withdraw, tell us clearly by email at support@amberdesigner.com. You do not need a special form.

• If you withdraw before work has started, we refund everything you paid.
• If you asked us, at checkout or in writing, to start work within the 14 days, and then withdraw, you pay for the work done up to the moment you told us. We refund the rest.
• If the service has been fully performed and you asked us to start within the 14 days and confirmed that you understand you lose the right to withdraw once it is fully performed, the right of withdrawal ends.

We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree to something else.

Care plans

Care plans run monthly. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice by email. The current month is not refunded, and the plan ends at the end of the notice period. If you are a consumer and you cancel within 14 days of first buying a plan, the right of withdrawal above applies, and you pay for the days of service you received.

Revision rounds and extra work

Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated for it. Extra rounds and out-of-scope work are quoted first and are billed only after you approve the price. Unused rounds are not refunded.

Free site review

The 15-minute site review is free. You can reschedule or cancel at any time. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice where you can, and there is no fee.

If we cannot deliver

If we cannot deliver what we agreed, we correct it or refund the affected part of what you paid. Your rights under law are not affected by anything on this page.

How refunds are paid

We pay refunds to the payment method or account you paid from, unless we agree otherwise. Bank timings may add a few days.
